Spotted something that looks wrong?
Getting the numbers right matters more to us than anything else. If a figure, a rule or a sentence on NestWise looks wrong, please tell us. We read every message.
What happens
How to report an error
Email hello@nestwise.net.au with “Correction” in the subject line. It helps to include:
- the page, calculator or guide, ideally with its link
- the figure or sentence that looks wrong
- what you believe is right, and where you read it, if you know
Please leave out personal details we do not need, such as your Customer Reference Number or tax file number.
If you have a NestWise account, you can also use the feedback form while signed in and choose “Something is broken”.
What we do with it
- A wrong rate or threshold is corrected in the rate catalog and checked again against its source. Because the calculators, the dashboard and the guides all read from that catalog, the correction reaches all of them at once.
- A wrong statement in a guide is corrected in that guide.
- A calculation that gets the rule wrong is fixed in the calculation itself, which the free calculators and the dashboard share.
- A mistake our checks should have caught is a sign a check is missing, and where we can, we add one so the same kind of error is caught next time.
If the figure turns out to be correct as it stands, we explain why and point you to the official source.
How corrections are dated
Every guide shows the date it was last updated. Figures that come from the rate catalog change as soon as the catalog does, so a corrected rate can appear in a guide before that date moves.
We do not currently publish a separate list of past corrections.
If you are unhappy with how NestWise has handled something, our complaints process sets out how to raise it and the timeframes we work to.
