Forward your first email to NestWise

Every paid account gets a private email address. Forward bills, Centrelink letters, school notices and party invites to it — NestWise reads them, pulls out the dates and amounts, and files them in the right place. Original email is never shared.

1. Find your private NestWise address

Open Dashboard → Inbox. The header shows your address — it looks likefamily-NAME-RANDOM@inbox.nestwise.net.au. Tap it to copy.

2. Add it to your email contacts

Save the address as NestWise inbox so it's one tap to forward. We recommend adding it on your phone too — most school newsletter forwarding happens on the go.

3. Forward something

What we read well:

  • Power, gas, internet, mobile and rates bills (PDFs attached or inline)
  • Centrelink + Services Australia letters — FTB balancing, CCS reviews, debt notices
  • School term notices, excursion permission slips, sport sign-ups
  • Insurance renewal notices (health, car, home)
  • Subscription receipts (Netflix, Spotify, gym)
Privacy: the forwarded email's body + any PDF attachment go to Claude (Anthropic) for structured extraction, then we keep ONLY the structured fields. We never store the original email body or attachments at rest. See our privacy notes for the full retention policy.

4. Review what landed

Each forwarded email shows up in your Inbox with the extracted fields preview. Tap to confirm: bills become a recurring_bills row, school notes become a calendar event, Centrelink letters get filed for your records. You can edit any field before confirming.

5. What if it didn't extract well?

If a bill came back with the wrong amount or date, edit the fields inline and save. We learn from corrections — the next bill from that same sender will extract better. If something fails entirely, hit Add manually and you'll land on the right form pre-filled with what we could read.
